It was great to get back at the first in-person ITF England Squad training session since early 2020 and to be training with the squad again after such a long time having to train via Zoom.
It was even better to just see and talk to the TKD family and catch up, then try and kick each other in the head.
Disappointingly the squad will not be sending a team to the European Championships that are scheduled to take place in Greece this October. The competition has already been rescheduled due to Covid19 and it was felt that the current, and probable future, travel restrictions could disrupt effective participation. The England squad training is now focussing its towards the 2022 European Championships in Croatia.
