With no let up in the Covid19 restrictions training with the ITF England Taekwondo Team will continue need to continue to be at home in Ludlow via an online link to the coaches.
Online taekwondo training is starting to become the new normal for all of us in the national team. Normally we would travel from various points around the country to meet up and train at a central venue. But this is not possible because of the potential of transferring infections from participants travelling from areas under higher restrictions to others in the team. It's frustrating, but everyone understands the need to continue to train via the online link.
The positive for many of us is that we don't have to get up at stupid-o-clock to travel down to the session and then be ready to train. We can get up at a civilized time, join the training session, train hard and then collapse at home without being concerned about driving back home.
It would be good to actually see the team in person again soon though.
